This is a dictionary of terms and descriptions of posters past and present for the benefit of the Usenet group alt.activism.death-penalty. Beware of fraudulent imitations using hard to read text in prison-uniform colors. This dictionary is provided only for those who wish to learn more about alt.activism.death-penalty, by using methods which are more or less nothing but common sense. It should enable the user to find the answers to their questions quickly.

This dictionary is humbly dedicated to Richard Jackson, an American retentionist, and an American patriot, who spoke his mind firmly, with conviction, while avoiding the pettiness of rancor and bitterness. A veteran of the Vietnam war, and a selfless teacher of the underprivileged. Unfortunately he shed his mortal coil while still in the prime of his life.

One of a number of new posters to alt.activism.death-penalty. Abelard is a poster who argues that George W. Bush's shit does not stink, and seeks contributions for Irak (sic) through his web page.

Abolitionists ---
Those who oppose the death penalty, either due to doubts as to its safety (see pragmatic abolitionist), or due to a belief that it is wrong (see principled abolitionist).

There are also three types of abolitionists in other respects. There are the reasonable abolitionists as shown in pop up one, there are the fanatic and psychotic abolitionists as shown in pop-up two, who would contend they would gladly murder a retentionist if it could save one murderer from the death penalty, and there are abolitionists as shown in pop-up three who would cause one to believe that "Darwin was wrong."

A barrier that exists among many abolitionists, in which questions which bear upon the credibility of other abolitionists are either ignored, avoided, or greeted with obscenities such as "shut the fuck up," followed by instant shutting of eyes and ears to all arguments which might address credibility of an abolitionist. Abu Ghraib ---
The human rights scandal now known as "Abu Ghraib" began its journey toward exposure on Jan. 13, 2004, when Spec. Joseph Darby handed over horrific images of detainee abuse to the Army's Criminal Investigation Command (CID). The next day, the Army launched a criminal investigation. Three and a half months later, CBS published photos and stories that revealed to the world heart-wrenching scenes of torture and suffering perpetrated by those seeking some form of sadistic pleasure. As AADP is well-known for its support for all human rights, of every victim, not only the victims of murderers, the group was rightly repelled by the disclosure of the abuses in abu_Ghraib.

Ad Hominem ---
A phrase applied to an argument or appeal founded on the preferences or principles of a particular person rather than on abstract truth or logical cogency (OED). The first and foremost weapon of Desmond Coughlan, who realizes that his lack of an education and any perceivable intellect leaves him with only ad hominem, which he peppers with hate and rage. Typical of this method has been his creation of the bigoted term of "deathies" for all retentionists.

American Civil Liberties Union ---
An organization with the purported purpose of preserving some amendments to our constitution, while opposing other amendments, and calling itself qualified to do so. Some of its actions are well-intentioned and have a purpose recognized as valuable by every American. While other of its actions often disregard the idea of "rights" and presume taking rights from some is more important than fighting for those rights. There is not another organization that is so divided between having supporters and having detractors.

The active feeling provoked against the agent; passion, rage; wrath, ire, hot displeasure. The emotion that alt.activism.death-penalty has never had any shortage of.

Anti-Aliasing ---
any technique that reduces the appearance of jagged edges in digital images caused by high-contrast borders between pixels. Often used to insert images within other images and reduce the jagged edges that result.

Anti-American ---
Opposed or hostile to the people of the United States. Proven through 9/11 to be fanatical members of Islam . At this point, it also appears that about every European posting here is unaware of the danger they face, just as all the western world faces. Europeans would find it beneficial to their own well-being to read While Europe Slept and Menace in Europe to gain some knowledge of the possibilities they are exposed to in the future, if they sleep for too long.

Anti-Semitism ---
A term which Desmond Coughlan claims has no meaning in respect to the Jews, yet he tries to use that term as a weapon to hide his own hate for the Jews, in weeping to Nizkor trying to bring his friend, Grüber, alias Grosvenor, in to defend him, in the typical method of one criminal pointing at another criminal, expecting that doing so will excuse his own crime. They are both scum... and one cannot be excused by the actions of the other. Desmond also insists that the Jews of today are "milking" the Shoah, for their own personal advantage.

Apate ---
Apate was the daughter of Nyx in Greek mythology. She was the personification of deceit, and was one of the evil spirits released from Pandora's box. The name comes from the Greek word, meaning "to deceive." When Planet Visitor first made a reference to that name, many of the cadre of abolitionists posting to the group, were shown to not be as intellectual as they pretended to be. Especially Desmond Coughlan.
Apathy ---
Freedom from, or insensibility to, suffering; hence, freedom from, or insensibility to, passion or feeling; passionless. A common characteristic among many abolitionists unless the subject is the United States and its domestic or foreign policies.

Apology ---
An acknowledgment expressing regret or asking pardon for a fault or offense. While excuses are common... apologies in alt.activism.death-penalty are as rare as a vegetarian vulture.

Armageddon ---
The place of the last decisive battle at the Day of Judgment; hence used allusively for any "final" conflict on a great scale. Also used as a "safe word" by masochists to tell their sadist partner they have had enough. For an example, listen carefully to the audio accompanying the video pop-up. It's hilarious and educational for any potential sadists or masochists.

Another off-and-on poster to alt.activism.death-penalty who is a rather weird ultra-liberal, thinking very highly of himself, expecting the sky to fall, and only socialism bordering on communism can save us all. He puts posters in his killfile routinely, leaving him very few posters he actually reads. While he has posted as many as 300 comments in one month, he lately has dropped off considerably with his comments. It is suspected that he is Canadian, and thus jealous of the U.S. medical care system as are all Canadians, so he takes every opportunity to bash it, with arguments that never contain any factual data.

Auschwitz ---
Nazi death camp in Southern Poland near the border with Slovakia and the Czech Republic. See -- Auschwitz. Auschwitz received prisoners from June 1940 until the Nazis forced 60,000 prisoners to camps away from the Soviet front in January 1945. The 7,650 sick or starving victims who remained, were liberated by Soviet forces on 27 January 1945. In all, between one and one-and-a-half million people perished at the Polish Auschwitz, 90% of them Jewish. Desmond Coughlan has insisted that "Auschwitz wouldn't execute a 72-year-old man." No Jew would offer such a sick argument regardless of excuses. No Jew would use Auschwitz in such a way for any reason. No Jew would use the victims of Auschwitz for his own personal agenda.

Australia ---
A country in the southern hemisphere comprising the mainland of the world's smallest continent, the major island of Tasmania, and numerous other islands in the Indian and Pacific Oceans. Originally populated by aboriginals and later used as a United Kingdom penal colony for its most violent criminals. Now known most for its virulent hate for the U.S., because of having had to be bailed out by the U.S. in World War II. This festering sore has been passed down from one or two previous generations. While themselves having fought valiantly against overwhelming firepower from the Japanese, the general feeling was that they could do it alone. There was also a great deal of resentment from families and neighbors because of the fact that 15,000 young Australian women married U.S. military during and immediately after World War II, and left Australia for the U.S. Thus, in "revenge" for the U.S. contribution to the defeat of Japan, and those "stolen" women, many Australians now refer to all Americans as "septics," and all Japanese as "victims" of U.S. brutality in World War II.

One-step-ahead-of-the-law poster, now on the lam in France. Often posts under the handles "capitalist pig" or "Cochon Capitaliste." He has taken a special interest in forging comments that he wants to appear come from Earl Evleth. He has also formed a friendship with Desmond Coughlan , and has become, along with Grüber (Alias Grosvomit) , one of only two posters in alt.activism.death-penalty who believe that Desmond Coughlan is Jewish. He also appears to be a homophobic gay who is still in the closet. His greatest concern right now is that Cerberus is going to take a rather large chunk out of his ass.

Baltimore County Police Department ---
Police force enjoying jurisdiction over the county of Baltimore, Maryland (USA). The Baltimore County Police Department became important on alt.activism.death-penalty when Desmond Coughlan played his role as the tragicomic opera prima donna, and wept, as he tried to lie again, begging the group to believe him in his claim that he had been responsible for having a poster to alt.activism.death-penalty incarcerated. Once insisting that the poster had committed a "federal crime," yet later claiming the poster had been sent to a "state prison." Desmond Coughlan unaware of the most fundamental and basic principle of logic insists that he does not have to prove this, as everyone knows he always lies anyway.

His first name is "Charlie," or "Laurence," and he is on first name basis with Desmond Coughlan, yet he is a retentionist. Current President of the U.S. Called "the liar Bush." Considered by most to be the most inept president the U.S. has ever had. Often caught in his own lies, and seemingly drunk when public speaking. If given sufficient time would certainly drive the U.S. into bankruptcy, which makes most Americans fall on their knees and thank the 22nd Amendment to our Constitution. Roll on 2009.

Butchery ---
In another of the most infamous insults to the Jews ever offered in alt.activism.death-penalty, Desmond Coughlan again offered the startling claim that 40% of all the Jews in the world (the percentage of world Jewry living in Israel) were guilty of committing "butchery" of humans, and another 40% of all the Jews in the world (the percentage of world Jewry living in the United States) were PAYING for that other 40% to commit "butchery." Carter, Jimmy ---
James Earl "Jimmy" Carter was the 39th President of the U.S., defeated by Ronald Reagan when running for re-election because of his failures in middle-east diplomacy which resulted in the unstated declaration of war by Iran against the U.S. when Iran invaded the U.S. Embassy and took U.S. embassy members as prisoners-of-war. Those members were released on the very day that Ronald Reagan took office as president of the U.S., because Iran recognized it would be dealing with an entirely different mind-set in working toward the release of those prisoners-of-war.

Carter, who has now gained the handle of "Jimmy the dhimmi," somehow believes he is still in office and working hard for the Palestinian Arabs taking control of the entire former Palestinian mandate, insisting the Jews are the source of all the problems in the middle-east, and the only way to solve the problem is to negotiate Israel away to Hamas and Hezbollah. Jimmy... why don't you stay home and plant peanuts in your golden years?

Carter, however; continues to defend his words, claiming that "Out in the real world, however, the response has been overwhelmingly positive." Those who are in support of Israel and deplore the murders committed against Israelis by fanatics in the name of Allah, are apparently not part of the "real world."

The standard of living has rapidly been improving and many Chinese now earn more than $3.00 a day. Which makes their exports quite cheap, while still ensuring the products they do make remain very expensive for the average Chinese. Ah... Communism... ain't it grand?

Former President of France. Now under criminal indictment. Determined to sell out France to Islam. Caught on camera seeking support from Germany's former Chancellor Helmut Kohl (see picture). Considered by most to be the most inept president the Fifth Republic has ever had. Making the Sixth Republic likely to be dominated by Islam. Often caught in his own lies, and seemingly drunk when public speaking. Usually caught with his hand in the pocket of French citizens, but in the picture shown seems to have a different objective with Kohl.

Christianity ---
A monotheistic religion centered on the life and teaching of someone called Jesus Christ. Also used as a form of recognition of one who follows Christianity -- such as -- "Jesus Christ, is that lunatic still ranting from the pulpit?"

Clane, Lord ---
Physicist and former retentionist poster to alt.activism.death-penalty, between approximately 1996 and 2002. Lord Clane's lasting contribution to the group is in his 'the physical universe' statement which, though not understood by the majority of abolitionists, has come to define what may and may not be attributed to the characteristic differences in the U.S. death penalty and murder. Proving logically and emphatically the fundamental difference between murder and the lawful death penalty in the United States. Showing once and for all that any claim that the death penalty in the U.S. can be compared to murder, is simply hysterical raving. Clinton, Hillary
Considered to have an outside chance to become the first woman since Benazir Bhutto led Pakistan, to lead what would be a third-world nation if George W. Bush served a third-term as U.S. president. Suspected of choosing to not dump her husband [see], while still having this possibility, Proving that the U.S. is tied with France and the UK, in just how dismal are the number of decisive suitable political prospects to lead those three nations.

Cochon!!!! ---
What Desmond Coughlan's underage (see Child), sister-in-law. called him (along with some other choice words), when he tried to cop a feel from what he insisted were her "pert," but child-like breasts.

Coleman, Roger ---
Proven murderer. Virginia man tried and executed in 1992 for a murder that he was legally proven to have committed. Recent DNA evidence confirmed that guilt, while Desmond Coughlan had insisted hysterically over the years that it was impossible for Roger Coleman to be anything but an innocent who was executed. Desmond has asserted that it is no insult to the Jewish victims of the Holocaust to insist that not one of them was INNOCENT, or that the Nazis committed any crime in killing 6 million Jews. But Desmond Coughlan insists that it is an insult to Roger Coleman, to claim that he was not innocent. Connect the dots. 6 million Jews. -- not innocent in the eyes of Desmond Coughlan, while he sees no insult to those victims to insist they were guilty. Roger Coleman -- conclusively proven guilty murderer but innocent in the eyes of Desmond Coughlan, as he sees an insult to Roger Coleman, the proven murderer, to claim that he was not innocent.

Communism ---
A benign form of fascism. No longer any form of political movement, but still has a use as slogans on tee-shirts.

Conservative ---
Although usually considered "right-wing," because there is some overlap in various beliefs held, and agendas supported, there is no logical reason to insist a conservative is "right-wing," or someone who is "right-wing" is a true conservative. The principles of the true conservative are those characterized by a tendency to preserve what they find to be what they support. No sane person desires to not change what they do not support, or change what they do support. True conservative are of the mind that "if it's not broken, don't fuck with it," opposing change for the sake of change and nothing else. It is true that in general more conservatives are supportive of our current nitwit President, and the fruitless pursuit of trying to bring the 21st Century into the heart of the 13th Century in Iraq. In that respect they feel more patriotic in defending whatever actions the administration takes. Finally, a larger percentage of conservatives believe in Jesus, than do liberals, who are mostly "Godless."

Conspiracy ---
A combination of persons for an evil or unlawful purpose; an agreement between two or more persons to do something criminal, illegal, or reprehensible (especially in relation to treason, sedition, or murder); a plot. Desmond Coughlan has insisted that 9/11 was a conspiracy by Israel.

Coughlan, Desmond ---
Murderer-loving European abolitionist poster claiming to be the "father" of alt.activism.death-penalty, who has now sunk lower into dementia by claiming he knows the unknown, using that to claim he is Jewish in order to lend some defense to his various comments in support of Nazi doctrine. While trying to otherwise hold a reasonable dialog with him is akin to whipping a head of lettuce out of your refrigerator and trying to explain differential equations to it.

Having operated under a great number of aliases and temporary handles to either avoid killfiles or in a hope to embellish his lie, by repeating it over and over, he has taken handles of calling himself Jewish in various raised percentages, then began claiming he is a Rabbi in his handle. He has now taken the handle "Yitzhak Isaac Goldstein" in a parody of a proud Jewish name, using an oily, smarmy attempt to prop up his lie. See Yitzhak . He attempts a technique of using various gimmicks to lie about others, which have been countered with mentioning each time he tries to use one of his gimmicks. Finally, he is the only poster in the history of alt.activism.death-penalty to have posted what is in absolute terms a Holocaust revisionist comment, claiming that 72-year-old men were not executed by the Nazis in Auschwitz. No Jew would use Auschwitz in such a disgusting way for any reason. No Jew would use the victims of Auschwitz for his own repugnant personal agenda of protecting the lives of each and every murderer.

Tourists who come for specific treatment to Cuba are treated much different from the indigenous Cuban population. Cyber Stalking ---
Cyber Stalking is the willful, malicious, and repeated following or harassment of another person and making credible threats of harm. Stalking most often occurs after a woman or man has broken up with a partner. Stalking, however, can occur for other reasons, and the stalker may or may not be known by the victim. Cyber Stalking is taken very seriously and should always be viewed as potentially dangerous. Stalking and harassment constitute criminal offenses in the U.S. while in backward countries the danger of such behavior is still not fully recognized. In 1990, California passed the first anti-stalking law in response to the brutal murder of actress Rebecca Schaeffer by a deranged fan. By 1993, all 50 states had passed anti-stalking laws. But, today many people are stalked not only in the physical world, but also in cyberspace. Some anecdotal evidence suggests that cyber stalking or online harassment can lead to actual physical stalking and harm. To combat this problem, numerous states have passed cyber stalking laws. According to the National Conference of State Legislatures, 44 states now have some form of cyber stalking or computer-harassment law on the books. Many states amended their stalking statutes after the attorney general's office under Janet Reno submitted a report to then-Vice President Al Gore, "Cyber stalking: A New Challenge for Law Enforcement and Industry," in August 1999. The report identified online stalking as "a serious and growing problem." The report made several "legislative recommendations," including: "States should review their existing stalking and other statutes to determine whether they address cyber stalking and, if not, promptly expand such laws to address cyber stalking."

Since then, for health reasons, he has insisted upon using reasons and his strong opinions, still determined for some strange reason to argue that the lives of each and every murderer must be saved.

Formerly the topic of alt.activism.death-penalty. But abolitionists have long since accepted defeat when it comes to defending the lives of murderers in the U.S. who are put to death. They no longer possess the high moral ground, or the logical base of the middle ground in that particular sub-set of the death penalty, and now only offer imbecilic insults and attempts to discredit the character of those not having any deep affection for murderers put to death in the U.S. Accompanied by an occasional claim there is a slight mathematical chance of the execution of an innocent, as if that means there is no mathematical chance at all of sending an innocent man to die in prison. Or the claim that we can "save a buck," by abolishing the death penalty, neglecting to mention that the buck saved will be taken out of due process which those sentenced to the death penalty now have.
Thus the subject of this group has shifted from one of argument for and against the U.S. death penalty, to one of a general anti-American slant taken by those who consider themselves morally, technically, logically and militarily superior to anyone in the U.S. While ignoring the threat posed by militant Islam, insisting anyone mentioning it is an Islamophobe. Democracy in United States --
Government by the people; that form of government in which the sovereign power resides in the people as a whole, and is exercised either directly by them (as in the small republics of antiquity) or by officers elected by them. In modern use often more vaguely denoting a social state in which all have equal rights, without hereditary or arbitrary differences of rank or privilege. The latest example is the U.S. trying to export democracy to Iraq in exchange for oil, which the Iraqis regard as a totally unfair exchange.

Democratic Party of the United States --
One of two major political parties in the United States, the other being the Republican Party. The Democratic Party traces its origins back to the party founded by Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, and other Federalists in 1792. To put a fine point on this... in a poll conducted in 2002 61% of Americans held hope for the FUTURE. The suicide rate in France points directly to this void that so many Europeans feel about the future. The need to fill that void aside from suicide has always been to find a scapegoat. In the past that scapegoat has been European Jewry. While anti-Semitism is still strong in Europe, much of that void has now been filled by anti-Americanism and anti-Globalism, which is seen as an American byproduct, as since the end of World War II Europe has watched its 2,000 year grasp on world leadership slip away. Everyone in alt.activism.death-penalty seems astonished that Earl would have become so slavish toward Desmond Coughlan, so soon after Desmond Coughlan told Earl's wife, Donna, to "go and fuck yourself." But one thing we can say about Earl... he certainly provides a lot of material which we can laugh at, such as things like -
1. His attempt to blame Reagan for a comment, but ending up offering his own racist comment about some "welfare queen" (his words - not Reagan's) who was "a black mama riding up in her caddy to collect her payments making perhaps $8000 a week from multiple collection." 2. His claim that "at absolute zero atoms and molecules do not budge." Disproved by none other than Richard Feynman, a Nobel prize winner in physics, who noted that atoms and molecules never stop vibrating, even at absolute zero. While Earl insisted that quantum mechanics was over at the time of Richard Feynman it is well known that the "path integral formulation" of quantum mechanics was developed by Richard Feynman.
3. His claim that bacteria are plant life.
4. But worst of all his claim that the Jewish victims of the Holocaust are "infected with the sociopathic evil of Nazism."

A theory of natural selection first developed by Charles Darwin, in which it is presumed that species evolve toward higher orders. The evidence existing in some of our species would tend to argue that this is still just a "theory."

 Theodore Frank was an impossible to rehabilitate notorious pedophile murderer. While in prison, he wrote why he wanted to murder young children. Freedom of Speech ---
The concept of being able to speak freely without censorship, or fear of attacks or in the case of Usenet... cyber stalking. It is often regarded as an integral concept in modern liberal democracies. More properly referred to as the European heat wave of 2003, except that France was the nation most ill-prepared for the disaster that accompanied that heat wave. 14,802 people, mostly the elderly, died in France from that heat wave, five times the number than any other European nation. Excuses were made, but in the final analysis it must be recognized that there was no plan in Socialism to handle this catastrophe, and most of all Socialism encourages long vacations, and most government ministers and physicians were on vacation in the month of August. Europe has a history following World War II to clap itself on the back as having admirable "family values." Of course this is plain rot, as the idea of the nuclear family is practically non-existent in France, and most assuredly does not include elderly parents as was shown by younger family members leaving on vacation and expecting their parents to deal with any problem that might happen. What has been in evidence in France concerning the "family unit," is many French families - or their children at least - enjoy spending their leisure time torching automobiles, throwing firebombs, rioting in protest because they are not given more, and choking on tear gas.

Did that Socialist system in France learn from this experience? Well, that all depends upon how much a society values life, as a much cooler heat wave hit France in 2006. 64 people were reported as dying from that heat: 40 senior citizens, 10 people with prior health conditions, eight outdoor workers, three athletes, two homeless people and one child, as reported by Giles Brucker, director of the government-run Health Surveillance Institute.

The decision halted capital punishment in the United States, and 558 condemned prisoners had their sentences modified, removing the DP. Ultimately, six of those who received prison sentences rather than execution, murdered six humans while incarcerated... Four other prisoners and two prison guards. And while records of those who were ultimately released are not absolutely precise as to recidivism, at least three of those murderers sentenced to the DP and then released, went on to murder after being released. Gestapo and the Cellars ---
Horrendous episode which took place in alt.activism.death-penalty in which a deranged abolitionist calling himself euro committed an act similar to the Nazis dragging the Jews from the cellars throughout Europe, including collaboration by the French Vichy authorities in France, to send Jews to the gas chambers. Following that clear example in his cyber-stalking. And then claiming that the poster Planet Visitor, whose real name he had exposed, was "helpless"to defend himself in an admission that euro wanted to sadistically administer "punishment" in seeking "revenge outside of a justice system" upon Planet Visitor. One could picture the drool forming at the side of euro's mouth, as he gleefully thought about using whips and chains on poor Planet Visitor, who never posted under that handle again.

Gimmicks ---
Various tricks and lies employed by Desmond Coughlan Hoping to cover the tracks of his lies, contradictions and idiotic arguments, he has concocted a great number of further lies and deceptions... lie heaped upon lies hoping to excuse his comments. All of them pointed directly at Planet Visitor, as he recognizes his worst nightmare is the presence of Planet Visitor, and how easily PV has been able to expose him for who he really is. How pathetic. But how typical of Desmond, who should preface each of his gimmicks with the words -- "I am pathetic and this is another of my pathetic gimmicks, because it's all I have."

Global Warming ---
Global warming is the increase in the average measured temperature of the Earth's near-surface air and oceans since the mid-twentieth century, and its projected continuation. The reasons behind global warming are highly debatable, and evidence has been claimed both for being caused by man or being caused by a natural cycle derived from the long-term cyclical phases that the sun goes through, which could not be caused by man. In any case, it is obvious that we should reduce our pollution of the planet if for no other reason than conserving non-replenishable energy resources. If we do enter a new ice age, and perhaps only a billion of our species survive out of the seven billion at present, we will certainly need a large amount of such energy sources for the remaining few of us to recover civilization.

What can possibly be said about the biggest loser in Usenet? This is a guy who is lower than those who make cold-calls. Gregg v. Georgia ---
428 U.S. 153 (1976). Supreme Court decision taken 31 March 1976, which dealt with the constitutionality of the death penalty under the terms of the VIII and XIV Amendments to the Constitution of the United States. The decision effectively re-introduced capital punishment to the United States, after a four-year lapse. Sending fear into the hearts of recidivist murderers, as the recidivism rate of released murderers dropped from 6.6%, in 1983, when the death penalty was just resuming, to 1.2% in 1994 when the death penalty was reaching its peak.

Great White Whale ---
Otherwise known as Louise 'the baby killer' Woodward. Convicted by a jury of second-degree murder of Matthew Eappen, an 8-month-old boy, who had her conviction reduced to manslaughter, and her life sentence reduced to time served, by the presiding judge, Hiller B. Zobel. It became a laughable episode in alt.activism.death-penalty when a mentally disturbed "chubby chaser" posting under the handle of "Just Passing By," who was in love with the Great White Whale, began a tirade claiming she was innocent, and ended up by praising her, claiming she had recently lost weight, comparing her to the victims of the Holocaust in the very same sentence in one of his posts. He went so far as to create an entire shrine to her in a web page having her picture in seductive clothing (a jump suit), loaded with lies in claiming she was innocent, and had been a scapegoat for the family having committed the crime, although she was alone at the time. The situation became even more laughable when Desmond Coughlan started raving insults and obscenities that Judge Zobel could not have set aside the jury verdict completely, and found "the great white whale" not guilty of any crime. Of course Desmond looked quite foolish when he admitted that he needed to apologize, because he was wrong, and in a short, terse acknowledgement stated -- "PV is right." The entire laughable, and embarrassing to Desmond episode can be found with all links in The Great White Whale.

One of the newer posters to alt.activism.death-penalty, doesn't seem to have a clue what the newsgroup is about or why he is even here, other than he shows an unmistakable intention of embarrassing himself. And good luck with that.

Gun Control ---
An argument between those who support the 2nd Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, and those who insist it should be abolished. It happens to be one of the strangest of all arguments in which liberals, who presumably support "rights" of individuals, actually insist the right of an individual to protect himself should be removed, and each U.S. citizen be provided a copy of the Brady Bill to throw at any thief who breaks into a home or threatens the life of an innocent. While conservatives who are always accused of wanting to take away the "rights" of individuals, are on the side of supporting that particular right. This issue was recently settled by the Supreme Court of the United States in a ruling which upheld the interpretation of the 2nd Amendment provides for the right of citizens to keep and bear arms.

Guilty people ---
According to Desmond Coughlan all Blacks and Jews are guilty people by definition. Blacks because he finds them "lower down the evolutionary scale..." and Jews because he finds them legally inhuman.

Unflappable, unmovable and armor skinned poster. Occupation -- Student and part-time contemplator of navel. Came into alt.activism.death-penalty in January, 2004, as an abolitionist with unclear reason why he was. Seeking more reasons to support his abolitionist view. It now seems that he wasn't really seeking answers but trying to impress an audience, since many have seen that holding a dialog with him is like nailing jelly to a tree. One of the arguments he has offered is that all it takes is power to make law, thus insisting that Hitler could make a law that David accepts as his own law, while he argues that "morality" can be an absolute. His further claim is that if it could be shown that it is impossible to execute an innocent he might become a retentionist, which is as silly as saying that if it could be shown that it is impossible to convict an innocent he might be in support of a justice system, but because it is not he must thus be in support of abolishing the justice system. His posts generally resemble the quantum theory, in that no one fully understands either of them. They appear to be written in some secret symbolic code.

Hamas ---
Hamas is a Palestinian Muslim terrorist organization that has been responsible for Islamic suicide attacks on Jewish civilians and Israeli security and military organizations. David Haley once insisted that this organization justifiably committed such acts because of the "icky-things" we had done to them. While Desmond Coughlan once insisted that it was because the Jews of Israel were committing "butchery." Of course, the preamble to the Hamas charter states that "Israel will rise and will remain erect until Islam eliminates it as it has eliminated its predecessors." The rest of the charter is a jumble of Muslim clichés, all leading to the argument that Allah gave all of the former Palestine mandate to the Muslims for eternity, and all methods used to remove the Jews are considered reasonable. With Hamas being the major instrument of Allah that will eliminate the Jews.

Hate ---
Intense hostility and aversion usually deriving from fear, anger, or sense of injury. Extreme dislike or antipathy. One of the signs and symptoms shown in Desmond Coughlan after years of intense therapy from Dr. Make U. Feelgood. The prognosis for recovery is very slim. Take someone like Coughlan who expresses hate for everyone who doesn't agree with him, in translating his presumed hate for some particular doctrine into hate for anyone who crosses his path. Your official dictionary advises that if you want to show hate for the song, don't hate the player, because it only exposes you trying to cover up your own support for the doctrine you want to convince everyone you hate.

Hezbollah ---
An oxymoron meaning "party of God." An Islamic militant organization based upon an ideology related to Nazism, in which the doctrine and objective is to destroy the Jews, in gaining "Lebensraum" for Islam, and "purifying the middle-east for Allah."

Hemingway. Ernest ---
Author of novel titled "For Whom the Bells Toll." Desmond Coughlan attributed those words to him as an original quotation, unaware that the words were from a famous work by John Donne, written more than 300 years before Hemingway's work. Apparently rump is actually the border separating Desmond's intellect from the rest of us. While some other abolitionists have also displayed an incredible ignorance about the life of Hemingway. They ran into a buzz saw called Dan Hogg, who proceeded to rip them to shreds about their lack of knowledge.

A handle used by James Noles during a period in which Desmond Coughlan was demonstrating his ripping off Yellow Stars from the victims of the Holocaust, and trying to put them on himself to pass as one of those victims. Founder and leader of the Nazi Party, Reich Chancellor and Führer of the Third Reich from 1933 to 1945. Head of State and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Adolf Hitler was born in Braunau am Inn, Austria, on April 20, 1889. After a spectacular political rise, he began to believe he was infallible and launched attack after attack on neighboring nations. The tide began to turn, and he abandoned his plan to invade the United Kingdom and then began to suffer defeats in Russia which he blamed on his generals. He sank further into a psychotic egomania, as he refused to believe the Nazis were being defeated in every battle, due to his fumbling attempts to direct the entire war by himself, and his refuse to retreat under any circumstances. He died by suicide in his bunker in Berlin on April 30, 1945.

Hogg, Dan ---
Retentionist/abolitionist,.. who is about as close to both as one can be. Only the argument of absolutism held by abolitionists is apparently all that keeps him from totally opposing the killing of a human by the state. Has taken various handles in his posting history here -- ten-wheels -- and some others. Has been on the receiving end of a large number of insults, simply because those who often argue with him are left with nothing other them throwing insults at him to defend their arguments.

Holman, Mitchell ---
Hard-core abolitionist, acting school drop-out, and anti-American. Having returned as a member of alt.activism.death-penalty after a few years of absence. We welcome Mitchell back to the group, although 99% of his views were immediately dissected and dismissed as either irrelevant or too biased to consider as having merit. We don't expect to deter him in his religious fervor, but for some reason, Mitchell seems extremely agitated and very angry. Perhaps this is a result of frustration on his part. If only he realized how that exposes his essential psyche to so near to that of Bush: both irreconcilably possessed of a closed mind, and willing to lie to support that closed mind.

Holocaust ---
The purposely planned and mechanically orchestrated attempt to exterminate the Jews, using a systematic and monstrous murdering machine to 'automate' the attempt in a methodical, murdering madness. In the end, it is estimated that approximately 5,933,900 Jews were annihilated in this 'final solution.'See -- killed numbers by country. Holocaust revisionist ---

Inhuman ---
A comment from Desmond Coughlan in respect to how he feels about the Jews being legally "inhuman." Iran ---
Known as Persia until 1935 because of the strong Persian influence. Iran became an Islamic republic in 1979 after the ruling monarchy was overthrown, with France having permitted Ayatollah Khomeini to return to instigate the overthrow of the existing government and forcing the shah into exile. Conservative clerical forces then established a theocratic system of government with ultimate political authority vested in an Islamic extremist religious scholar referred to commonly as the Supreme Leader. Lately it has been highly suspected that the leaders of Iran are presently working hard to obtain a nuclear capability which they intend to use against Israel.

Iraq ---
A small, insignificant country, noted only for its oil and its apparent thirst for a dictator to lead the citizens, through either oppressive and murderous dictators, or equally oppressive and murderous theocratic madmen. More is the pity for those living in that country who actually believe in democratic institutions of self-rule.

Irony ---
The use of words to express something different from and often opposite to their literal meaning. An expression or utterance marked by a deliberate contrast between apparent and intended meaning. A literary style employing such contrasts for humorous or rhetorical effect. Now if only we could get our Englishmen brethren to grasp the concept.

Islam ---
A religion more than 1400 years old, but not having advanced more than 700 years in that 1400 years. At that pace, in the year 3506 Islam will be as advanced as the Western world is in today's thinking. Paving its way to the 10th Century, Islam is adding new meaning to the term "dark ages" that we live in today because of the devastating impact Islam has upon the progress of western civilization. Islamic Terrorism ---
Acts of violence committed by some Muslims to further the cause of Islam. By the definition of terrorism it is meant specifically to target non-combatants. One of the most momentous of such Islamic terrorist attacks was the attack on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.

Islamophobe ---
An Islamophobe is one who sees Islam as a monolithic bloc, static and unresponsive to change. One who finds Islam does not have values other than its own and tries to impose those values upon others having different values. An Islamophobe is someone who believes that Islam considers non-Muslims to be inferior, barbaric, impure, evil and immoral. An Islamophobe is a person who sees Islam as violent, aggressive, and supportive of terrorism to an unacceptable extent. One who also sees Islam as a political ideology that strikes at the very heart of secular law and secular acceptance of all religion including the dismissal of all religion as mental poppycock.
If there is one single definition that should be listened to by any rare reader of this official dictionary, it is the voice- over to the picture in the middle of the three thumbnails. It must be listened to all the way, to hear the stunning conclusion. Ask yourself if these two victims of Islam feel they are Islamophobes, and if they are justified in feeling that way. These two are legion... and they represent examples of what Europeans should start to see. Israel ---
Land established as a Jewish State in accordance with United Nations Resolution 181 published on November 29, 1947. The Jewish state was formally declared independent by David Ben-Gurion on May 15, 1948, who became the first Prime Minister of Israel. The day following this declaration of independence, the newly created Jewish state of Israel was invaded by seven nations forming the Arab League - Egypt, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia and Yemen. The Jewish state of Israel prevailed militarily, and while much blood has been shed by both sides in the intervening 60 years, Israel still exists as a Jewish state in the middle-east. It hardly seems reasonable that so much blood has been shed for this kind of land --

But that would seem it's more than about land, but about hate and greed on the part of Islam in the middle-east.

Online name adopted by an extremely rare retentionist troll, who often expressed racist feelings. His favorite claim was that he was a Christian Reverend, having purchased an on-line ministerial certificate. He generally ended his trolls with the comment -- "Yours in the glory that is our Lord Jesus Christ." His only redeeming quality was having trolled Desmond Coughlan so effectively he drove Desmond into one of those psychotic episodes that have become the hallmark of Desmond's frustration, making Desmond offer another tirade of typical lies... accusing the troll of firebombing his flat, then denying he had made that claim. Then in hysteria claiming that he had been responsible for seeing that Don Kool went to "state prison," sent there by the FBI. Insisting it must be true because no one could prove he was lying. This particular episode ranks right up there with the most incredible lies ever attempted in Usenet, which made a name for alt.activism.death-penalty. However, everyone enjoyed one of the hardiest laughs ever witnessed at Desmond's purple vein. And it prompted Lucas Stults to remark that Don Kool and Desmond Coughlan were actually one person, Kelly Bringhurst. Who was operating a long test of "the psychology of mass manipulation and the group mind set of the Internet." That lie by Desmond, still brings a laugh to every poster who knows his nature in Usenet.

Another new poster to alt.activism.death-penalty, who is a born-again California Christian, insisting capitalism and conservatism are failures by definition. Doesn't have a clue concerning how he feels about the death penalty in the United States.

Law ---
A code of principles based on morality, conscience, or nature. Unfortunately some here, including Desmond Coughlan as their leader, continue to argue that murdering six million Jews was perfectly legal, because in his words -- the Jews were "legally inhuman." Justice would argue that there is something about an unjust law that makes it legally invalid. Given that the idea of "law" and "justice" are not objective in nature, but rely upon the consensus of the governed and only those who accept the consequences of such statutes need consider it actually "law." Aristotle, Thomas Aquinas, and Martin Luther King Jr., said it best. Aristotle writing that "law is reason, free from passion." The attempt to exterminate European Jewry was filled with the passion of hate. Thomas Aquinas writing that "an unjust law is no law at all, but instead a perversion of the law," and Martin Luther King Jr., writing essentially the very same thing. Against that backdrop we have Desmond Coughlan insisting he sees nothing wrong with legally exterminating European Jewry. Is it any wonder that Justice is bleeding at the perversion of what some want to call "the law"?

Lawyer ---
One versed in the law; a member of the legal profession, one whose business it is to conduct suits in the courts, or to advise clients, in the widest sense embracing every branch of the profession, though in colloquial use often limited to attorneys and solicitors.

One of the most hilarious episodes (why do they always involve Desmond Coughlan?) that has every taken place in the group was when Desmond posted out of the blue a claim that --- "I'm a lawyer." It matches his claim that "God is supreme." Of course it was not true. Desmond never was a lawyer, and never worked as a lawyer in the French Justice System. To top it off, he is totally ignorant of the law, insisting that "Confessions are not evidence." When the French Criminal Code was shown to him with proof that confessions are evidence, that purple vein in his forehead began throbbing again, and he never attempted to defend his comment.


Liar---
A person who lies. Essentially there are five types of liars,
1. Those who in benign ways inadvertently stretch the truth.
2. Some who have made statements they have forgotten, deny they have made those statements, and either admit they did or worse, still deny it when shown they made those exact statements.
3. Those who lie purposely to advance their personal agenda. See Mr Diablo .
4. Those who are pathological liars and have lost the ability to even know they are lying. See Desmond Coughlan.
5. And finally those who have a pathological need to call others liars when they have not only been caught in lies themselves, but have no evidence to support calling another a liar. See John Rennie.

Liberals ---
Although usually considered "left-wing," because there is some overlap in various beliefs held, and agendas supported, there is no logical reason to insist a liberal is "left-wing," or someone who is "left-wing" is a true liberal. The principles of the true liberal are those characterized by a tendency to change what they believe needs to be changed, without considering the impact upon the rights of some, if granting certain rights to others. No sane person desires to not change what they do not support.

True liberals are of the mind that "if it's not broken, fuck with it in believing it can be made better." Often supporting change for the sake of change and nothing else. It is true that in general more liberals are rightly critical of our current nitwit President, and the fruitless pursuit of trying to bring the 21st Century into the heart of the 13th Century in Iraq. Although their reasons for these beliefs often take a surreal view of the realities, much of their beliefs are quite valid. In that respect they despise the idea of patriotism, and condemn whatever is their daily frenzy. Most liberals are also atheists, not just anti-religion, but insisting that a creator of this universe cannot exist because they "KNOW" a creator of this universe cannot exist. Making it clear that calling them "Godless," is not meant as an insult but recognition of their point of view in presuming they are themselves omniscient.

What is equally strange about a few liberals is that they oppose the death penalty in civilized lands, but support Islam which has a Draconian death penalty for some of the most unbelievably mundane behaviors, such as adultery and homosexuality.

Whenever Desmond Coughlan uses the phrase "light dweller," he is about to write something incredibly and cravenly stupid. It is the prelude to an astonishing degree of pedantry to follow, which will be too difficult for the reader to bear, without busting out laughing.

Lockerbie ---
Small town in Scotland which was the site of the crash of Pan Am Flight 103. By every analysis, the crash was the result of a terrorist attack by Libyan terrorists, and the Libyan government accepted that responsibility and paid compensation of $8 million to each of the families of the 270 killed in that crash. Desmond Coughlan insists that the crash was not caused by any kind of a bomb, but was the result of "clear air turbulence," and an unairworthy aircraft.

Logic ---
One of the most basic ideas that separates mankind from the lower animals. A science that deals with the principles and criteria of validity of inference and demonstration. The science of the formal principles of reasoning. Not to be confused with the invention of "fuzzy logic" which has always been used by Desmond Coughlan in his arguments. Desmond fails to realize one of the most fundamental tenets of logic... the presumption of an argument is always in the negative. Known from antiquity as - semper praesumitur pro negante. But Desmond argues that he does not have to prove anything he says. That his word must be accepted that he is Jewish (while he displays support for Nazi doctrine, and has been proven to not be Jewish). That his word must be accepted that he has an education, yet he has never demonstrated that he does. That his word must be accepted that he actually has a job. That his word must be accepted that he works for the French government. That his word must be accepted that a member of alt.activism.death-penalty firebombed his flat. That his word must be accepted that he was responsible for having a poster incarcerated for something or other. etc...etc... etc... He even insists that others must prove he is NOT Jewish, while he is not required to prove what he asserts, even as he admits that his assertion of being Jewish is an "UNKNOWABLE."!!! In other words, he claims to KNOW the UNKNOWABLE!!! Of course, Desmond has also insisted that "Auschwitz wouldn't execute a 72-year-old man." No Jew would offer such a sick argument regardless of excuses. No Jew would use Auschwitz in such a way for any reason.

London Tube attack ---
A series of coordinated bomb blasts that hit the London tube system during the morning rush hour on 7/7/2005. The bombings killed 52 people, plus the four suicide bombers, while injuring 700 people. The four suicide bombers were identified as home-grown Muslim British subjects (three had been born in Leeds, and one had been born in Jamaica, but lived in England since he was five years old). Home-grown monsters who had not yet been apprised of the news that democracies do not breed terrorists. It turned out that they had all been brainwashed at a Muslim community center in Leeds, a community center funded by the British government and the European Union. It also turned out that this was not a mystery because a poll conducted shortly after the Muslim generated terrorist attack showed that 32% of British Muslims agreed that "Western democracy is decadent and immoral and Muslims are religiously bound to seek bringing it to an end." 6% of those same Muslims considered the attacks as "justified," 16% felt "not loyal toward Britain," a full 60% did not believe al-Qaeda was responsible for 9/11, and 70% believed that "Britain and the United States had declared war on Islam."

Britain has apparently become a relatively safe-haven for Muslim terrorists to establish operating command and control centers under the relatively uncaring eye of British law enforcement. London has become the international headquarters for radical groups such as Takfir-wal-Hijra, Hizb ut-Tahrir, the Movement for Islamic reform in Arabia, the Bahrain Freedom Movement, and the Algerian Armed Islamic Group. British authorities studiously avoid these groups. Frustrated French counterterror officials have thus gone to referring to the British capital as "Londonistan." Rather funny considering the problem France has with its Muslim population. Apparently it "finger-pointing" time.

Custody was granted to Manchester United as the boy firmly believes they are not capable of beating anyone.

The Republican senior Senator from Arizona and presumptive Republican party nominee for President of the U.S. in the upcoming 2008 election. Senator McCain graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy and in 1967 he was shot down, badly injured and became a prisoner of the North Vietnamese for five and a half years. He was tortured during various times while held by the North Vietnamese. McCain's grandfather was an admiral during World War II, and McCain's father was also an admiral and was CINCPAC, Commander-in-Chief Pacific Command, during the time John McCain was a prisoner of the North Vietnamese. McCain is now serving his fourth terms as a Senator, having been first elected in 1986, and reelected in 1992, 1998, and 2004. He is somewhat famous for having a volatile temper, but those who know him insist that he is always in control, even when angry.

Senator McCain at 72-years-old, with a history skin cancer, and the injuries he sustained while a prisoner of the North Vietnamese, which were extensive, is considered by some to be at best a one term president if elected, and at worst to not be physically capable of serving even one term if elected. Making the Republican choice for a vice-president, from an extremely short list of capable Republicans, very important if he expects to win in November 2008.

Notorious multiple murderer. See -- Kenneth McDuff. McDuff was one of those murderers who had their death penalty overturned in Furman v. Georgia. He subsequently went on to commit multiple murders upon his parole. No one knows exactly how many.

Barack Obama is a highly trained and highly effective public speaker, often bringing crowds to their feet in fanatic support and applause. He has used this quality to great advantage in his quest for the Democratic nomination and his run for the U.S. presidency. Running for office on the single word "CHANGE." Whether such "change" will be for the better is something only time will tell if he is elected.

While having some good ideas and some bad ideas he appears to be obsessed with four things. 1) the queues at medical clinics in Australia, 2) delighting in pissing off abolitionists with cross posting, 3) Winning in Iraq and 4) making money.

Oil for Food Program ---
The Iraqi Oil for Food Program supposedly operated by the United Nations, or more properly called "The French Welfare System for the French Rich or Politically Connected."

In October 2005, a commission led by former U.S. Central Bank Chief Paul Volker concluded its lengthy investigation of the United Nations oil-for-food program. The commission reported that in exchange for French diplomatic support, Iraq adopted an "explicit policy of favoring companies and individuals based in France." No wonder France opposed the invasion. Beneficiaries of Iraqi kickbacks in the Saddam era received oil barrel allocations based on their level of opposition to the sanctions regime. The Volker report alleges that Jean-Bernard Mérimée, France's former special adviser to the Secretary-General of the UN, received oil allocations for six million barrels from Iraq; French businessman Claude Kaspereit received allocations for more than 9.5 million barrels; former French diplomat Serge Boidevoix received an astonishing 32 million barrels; Gilles Munier, the Secretary-General of the French-Iraqi Friendship Association, received 11.8 million barrels. Munier, by the way, has been a particularly loud critic of American policy in Iraq. Former French Interior Minister Charles Pasqua was given allocations for 11 million barrels, and upon receiving this news, he is said to have gleefully exclaimed, "I will be the king of petrol."

And let's not forget the UK, and MP George Galloway, who was offered up as a Saint opposing intervention in Iraq on supposedly "moral ground." Turns out his idea of "moral" begins with an "mo" and has five letters in it, and that's were the similarity ends. On-demand violent premature annihilation of a viable fetus, so as to ensure the destruction of that offspring. In terms of on-demand abortion, it is an abortion which is not deemed physiologically or psychologically necessary, such as would be the case in rape or incest, or a non-viable fetus, or due to medical necessity to save the life of the woman carrying the offspring. On demand abortion is the one procedure in which one human life holds the power to destroy another human life (potential being irrelevant since one cannot even explain what "potential" means) using only a personal desire, and which carries no criminal penalty in destroying that other human life. Even a homicide committed in self-defense requires the examination by society as to whether having taken that other life was justified in self-defense. Such a demand can be made and a viable fetus terminated, yet demanding even the removal of a viable finger would result in a trip to the booby hatch. While what is in evidence is that liberals who almost exclusively oppose the death penalty for any murderer, support the death penalty for a human life, unborn. Papon, Maurice ---
A French Civil Servant who in the second world war collaborated with the Nazis and was responsible for the identification and deportation of thousands of French Jews, who eventually were exterminated in Auschwitz. For his crimes he served less than 3 years, and enjoyed the protection of a number of French presidents, including Charles DeGaulle. He finally died in February, 2007, at the age of 96, while scoping out the bikinis on the French Riviera. Desmond Coughlan spent much of his time in this group defending Papon. Insisting that he wanted Papon to spend his final days pleasuring himself, rather than serve a day of his ten year sentence in a dreary French prison, since Papon had suffered enough in losing his Legion of Honor and other decorations, according to Desmond.

Paris Rental Bike System ---
On July 15, the day after Bastille Day, Parisians woke up to discover thousands of low-cost rental bikes at hundreds of high-tech bicycle stations scattered throughout the city, an ambitious program to cut traffic, reduce pollution, improve parking and enhance the city's image as a greener, quieter, more relaxed place. He managed to cyber stalk and revealed the real name of Planet Visitor, who rather than try to lie his way out of it, admitted that euro's Nazi methods had been successful. euro went on to gloat that he felt he was right, and used the words that he was "punishing" Planet Visitor, because euro admitted he could not deal with the words, and thus needed to find a more diabolical means of sadistic violence in his attacks on Planet Visitor. Even insisting that he was "punishing" as both judge and jury. And gloated that Planet Visitor was "helpless" and "powerlessness" to do anything against his vicious attacks. All abolitionists, other that Desmond Coughlan ran for cover, so ashamed of euro and his vicious methods. Desmond, of course, continued the same vicious attack, now calling various James Noles in Florida, and posting a couple of different addresses and phone numbers, and admitted he had paid a "private investigator" to cyber stalk James Noles. All in all, it is unknown if other abolitionists really feel this type behavior is representative of their doctrine in respect to saving the lives of every murderer, but finding nothing wrong with destroying the anonymity of a retentionist. Republican Party of the United States ---

Most retentionists living in states which have such statutes, feel it is an intrusion into their own affairs, by those who should more rightly concern themselves with their own society, and not meddle in the internal affairs of U.S. Society, which does not execute indiscriminately or carelessly, or in haste.

Europe still has not come to terms in attempting to bargain with depravity. Losing sight of what cannot be tolerated - the attempt to destroy the very fabric of western civilization and replace it with the fabric of Islamic theocracy, as Europe replaces "tolerance" with "appeasement," in fear of internal retribution from angry Muslim terrorists.

The Netherlands has seen what its policies of "tolerance" have brought them. In the murder of Theo van Gogh, and in the appeasement of those such as Jamil Jawad, leader of the Netherlands branch of the Arab European League, who called for the destruction of Israel in his opening remarks to the league's inaugural meeting, and then demanded the abolition of the Netherlands' drug-selling coffee houses and legal brothels. His successor, Mohammed Cheppiah, urged that homosexuals be stoned to death. The league's press officer, announced that she found unproblematic the sight of Moroccan youth chanting "Hamas, Hamas, gas all the Jews" on the streets of Amsterdam. When al Qaeda was linked to detonating bombs in Turkey, killing dozens of people, she expressed her "support and understanding" of the murderers, since they had blown up two synagogues. She said "I am against the killing of innocents, but how do you know who is innocent?" How can you show "tolerance" toward those who would erase "tolerance" toward others?

Why do we find Europe in the group of this strange passivity? Its source is in the form of weak rationality, a kind of utilitarianism. Europeans now obey their authorities not because they promise a utopian future (although those authorities do make such promises). They do so because they find passivity is preferable to chaos and anarchy, yet this is exactly what they invite with such passivity. This passivity stretches from the absurd to the deadly, and most Europeans cannot recognize the difference. When a drunk urinates in the street, the argument of liberals supporting Socialism as a substitute for God tend to insist "Why the hell not?" From that little thing we see the trend... Why the hell should people not urinate in public... leading to why the hell should we concern ourselves with protecting European civilization? "Tolerance" has not only become the same as "appeasement," but a substitute for legitimization. By tolerating it, behavior that seems to harm no one (although urinating in the street can bring harm to someone), and ideas that cause riots and violent protects that do harm others, both become legitimate. As the concept of "tolerance" becomes an absolute. A presumed "moral absolute," that legitimizes just about anything in the interest of passivity, and a "political correctness" that dares not confront Islam for fear of being branded as bigoted, even while Islam has no problem confronting European civilization and insisting it must be destroyed and replaced with Muslim civilization.

An international organization whose stated aims are to facilitate cooperation in international law, international security, economic development, social progress and human rights issues. In this respect it has largely been a failure, lacking the force necessary to effect changes in nations willing to join the organization, to gain a foothold in voting for issues they support, but unwilling to abide by the limitations the organization would hope to impose upon sovereign nations. Further, UN unwillingness to apply military force or strict and hard economic sanctions when necessary to achieve compliance with world opinions has made it more of a paper tiger than anything else. The fact that it sits on United States land while enjoying diplomatic immunity has made it the focus of strong opposition by many Americans to either withdraw from the organization, or have it relocated to a more neutral setting. Since the United States, and just about every other country with independent military and economic resources, have demonstrated sovereign rights when challenged by the United Nations in respect to some issues.

An institution of higher learning providing facilities for teaching and research and authorized to grant academic degrees. Although Desmond Coughlan has been in an "institution," it was because of the process of being "mentally institutionalized." The one that he did attend had men with white coats, and bars on the doors and windows, and did not offer a diploma upon 'graduation' (release).

Western Civilization ---




While Western civilization finds its roots in Greece and Rome, this dictionary refers to the civilization that developed in late Rome and Europe, and then extending through exploration and colonization into North America and Australia, all generally outside of Islamic influence. The world as it exists today is mainly one of secular societies in one part, having democratic governments, and in the other part having societies in which religion plays an absolutely essential part in the running of daily lives, and involvement with the functions of the government is to such an extreme that a government announcing the clear and total separation of state and religion could never be elected even if elections were permitted.

The West, however; has of late revealed a hatred of itself, which is strange and can only be considered pathological. There seems to be a self-loathing among many who have benefited from the advances made by western civilization, apparently believing they don't deserve it. This even extends to feeling guilt and believing western civilization deserves to be destroyed by its enemies. Agreeing with those enemies who wish to destroy, that western civilization is in decline. Agreeing that Islamic brainwashing and religious adherence to a "supernatural being" who is involved in our daily lives and demands we pray to Him, is the "wave of the future."

The West seems to no longer cares about itself, or in its own history. It now sees only what is deplorable and destructive about itself, while it is no longer able to perceive what is extraordinary, unique and has benefited mankind to the extent that we live better, live longer, know more about ourselves, know more about the beauty of nature, and know more about the universe we inhabit. This is called evolution, as opposed to stagnation which is found in Islam.

However; there exists a blindness to the transcendent logical, scientific and ethical secular renaissance which has taken place within the last few hundred years, and which continues to grow and flourish in western civilization, as many in the western world feel a return to religious roots extending from the middle-east is essential. No other civilization in human history has reached the point of being critical of itself, and even to laugh at its various failings and foibles, The Islamic world does not abide any criticism of itself, nor does it have the capacity to laugh at all. Instead there is a driving hate which calls for the destruction of western civilization when something so trivial as a cartoon about Mohammed is published in western civilization. And we actually accept that this driving hate is reasonable and understandable, and should be met with changing our attitudes toward disavowing secularism.

On the other hand, the enemies of western civilization do not feel any self-loathing, even when they commit murder in the name of their "God," in the most violent and explosive ways. These enemies of western civilization consider themselves to be uncontaminated by what they see as the unpardonable excesses of western civilization. Believing themselves to be both peaceful and more advanced than western civilization, in spite of their obvious reliance on violence, other shortcomings and belief in a divine God.

Obviously the number of geniuses having influenced and enriched western civilization is enormous, and this dictionary could not do justice to all of them. Thus, in some cases of names they represent a particular movement which has enriched us. The list shows 192 names, and could easily show ten times that number but then this dictionary would no longer be about anything other than those geniuses which have complemented and brought about the greatness of western civilization.

The distinctive badge that the Nazis forced the Jews to wear, during the Holocaust. When Desmond Coughlan first recognized that his lie that he is Jewish was unraveling, in desperation he began whining that he was a victim of the Holocaust, and was wearing the _Jewish yellow star_. This behavior was quite similar to the behavior of the guards at the various Nazi death camps and concentration camps, who ripped the _Jewish yellow star_ off of the victims they had murdered, and tried to pass themselves off as Jewish survivors, when the allies overran those camps and freed the prisoners in the closing days of WW II.
